Q: Do you provide full or half venue wedding hire At The Heads?
A: Yes, we can cater from groups as small as 10 right through to weddings of 120 people. We work with you to create your perfect Bellarine Peninsula wedding.
Q: Are you located close to Geelong?
A: Yes we are located approximately 20 km from the centre of Geelong on the Bellarine Peninsula in Barwon Heads.
Q: Is there accommodation choices close to At The Heads restaurant in Barwon Heads?
A: There is a large range of accommodation providers in and around Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove and surrounding areas on the Bellarine Peninsula. Caravan parks, holiday rentals, exclusive retreats and more.
Q: Can we have our ceremony and reception At The Heads?
A: Absolutely, we offer inside and outside ceremony spaces depending on your preference. You can also use the beach at the mouth of the Barwon River just outside our door, for the ultimate waterfront photos.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book my wedding?
A: Wedding venues on the Bellarine Peninsula are incredibly popular given our proximity to Geelong and Melbourne. We highly recommend you allow at least 12 - 16 months of lead time for a Summer or Springtime wedding.
Q: Do you offer your venue for weddings all year long?
A: We operate all year round and can offer you the use of our beautiful restaurant as your wedding venue on the Bellarine Peninsula anytime during the year apart from between Christmas eve and Australia Day.
Q: Do you ever host winter weddings?
A: The Bellarine is a beautiful place to be during the winter months and Winter weddings are becoming very popular. Think open fireplaces, candles and lots of atmosphere, At The Heads really is the best wedding venue any time of the year.
Q: Do you have fairy lights available for the reception?
A: It’s not a wedding without fairy lights! We have fairy lights that are strewn between our restaurant rafters offering a canopy of twinkling lights to dance and dine beneath.
