FULL VENUE
Located on the waters edge, the main dining room features warm timber and ample glass throughout. Spectacular views from the iconic Barwon Heads bridge, the bluff, the heads of Port Phillip Bay and beyond.
The room is fitted with bi-fold doors on the northern and eastern aspects, which open the space onto the water and the deck. A whole venue wedding can accommodate up to 130 guests for a seated function or 150 guests for a canapé wedding. For events with exclusive use of the venue, the Mulloway room can also be utilised as an additional space a private area for the bridal party.
MICRO WEDDINGS
Situated on the southern ‘Bluff’ side of the venue, the Mulloway Room offers a space perfect for smaller functions, without compromising on facilities or views and provides its own separate entry. The Mulloway Room can accommodate up to 30 guests for a seated style, or up to 40 for a canapé style. Please note that our restaurant and bar will remain open to the public during weddings in the Mulloway Room.

We understand the importance of finding the perfect spot to exchange vows on your special day. That's why we've curated a collection of stunning locations for you to explore, including outdoor spaces by the beach and grassy areas overlooking the jetty, as well as an indoor option under our iconic exposed beams and timber floors. Absolutely, we offer inside and outside ceremony spaces depending on your preference. You can also use the beach at the mouth of the Barwon River just outside our door, for the ultimate waterfront photos.

Wedding venues on the Bellarine Peninsula are incredibly popular given our proximity to Geelong and Melbourne. We highly recommend you allow at least 12 - 16 months of lead time for a Summer or Springtime wedding.

We operate all year round and can offer you the use of our beautiful restaurant as your wedding venue on the Bellarine Peninsula anytime during the year apart from between Christmas eve and the end of January.

The Bellarine is a beautiful place to be during the winter months and Winter weddings are becoming very popular. Think open fireplaces, candles and lots of atmosphere, At The Heads really is the best wedding venue any time of the year.

It’s not a wedding without fairy lights! We have fairy lights that are strewn between our restaurant rafters offering a canopy of twinkling lights to dance and dine beneath.
